We are thrilled to share an exclusive interview with Michael Anastassiades, who joined KOYORI this year. In our conversation, he discusses the origins of our collaboration and the design philosophy behind the Makuri Lounge Chair and Ottoman.
"The chair I designed has two main curves. One makes up the seat and the other makes up the back. The curves express a welcoming gesture, inviting people to sit on the chair. The highlight is its lightness, and its effortless appearance," Anastassiades explains.
